Free training for professionals in North Wales

Our specially-commissioned drug and alcohol awareness course is designed for people who work within the substance misuse sector in Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Wrexham and Ynys Môn.

It will be especially useful for workers who are indirectly involved with substance misuse issues  including teachers, police officers, housing workers and community support groups, plus many more.  Each course will include participants from a variety of organisations.

 

Course Aims

The CAIS Drug and Alcohol Awareness courseaims to increase awareness of the fundamental principles associated with the recognition and management of drug and alcohol misuse.

 

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will have an increased awareness of:

Course accredited by Wea Cymru at OCN Level 2.
Participants will receive an information pack and workbook, and certificate of attendance for the course.
This course is provided FREE OF CHARGE.
Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided on each day
