Overview of Service
A CAIS Assessment is often the first appointment for people concerned with their drug or alcohol use. It is an opportunity to discuss your needs with a trained assessor/counsellor and find the most suitable and timely service for you. A CAIS assessment may lead to CAIS counselling, another CAIS service, a Community Drug and Alcohol Team service, or a combination of any of these.
CAIS assessments are also available for people concerned with someone else's drinking or drug taking. They provide an opportunity to talk about how someone else's substance use is affecting you.
Both services are completely confidential and available in a range of locations across north Wales or by telephone.
Eligibility Criteria
Assessments are available for anyone aged 18 or over concerned with their own or someone else's drink or drug taking.
