It is for people who: -
- Know they are drinking too much and want to stop or cut down.
- Know that their drug use is excessive and want to stop or cut down.
- Think that they ought to stop or cut down but are not sure how to and would like to talk to someone about it.
- Have already stopped or cut down and would like support.
- Had stopped or reduced and now they find they are back drinking heavily or taking drugs again.
Or for people who: -
- Are being harmed or upset by the drinking/drug taking of someone else (that might be a partner, parent, child, close friend or relative) and want to talk about it.
CAIS will also provide information about alcohol, safe drinking or various drugs or about what other help is available.
