CJIW

In 2015, CAIS merged with Wrexham-based Community Justice Interventions Wales (CJIW) creating an all Wales service dedicated to helping people facing hard times.

CJIW works to advance education and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour through the provision of recreation facilities, advice, guidance, accredited qualifications and education for those who face social disadvantage. It manages a number of programmes in association with the Probation Service and Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme.

The CJIW Mission:

‘to develop those with whom it works in order that they may achieve their full potential both as individuals and members of society’.

CJIW have a diverse programme for service users which include:

  • The CJIW Farm in St Asaph
  • The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
  • The Endeavour Award
  • Enhanced Community Punishment
  • Independent Living Skills/Future Skills
  • Football Academy
  • Open College Network
  • Circles of Support and Accountability
  • Volunteering
