Doorstop Floating Support Scheme
This service is for offenders or those at risk of offending who have a chaotic lifestyle due to a drug or alcohol issue (current or past). The service aims to reduce the offending behaviour and to address the substance misuse to enable the service user to maintain their tenancy/secure a longer term tenancy. The scheme is for people over the age of 16 who are in 28 day emergency accommodation, temporary accommodation with a promise of a tenancy, or have their own tenancy. Service users must be willing to address their offending behaviour, be in/willing to be in treatment, and be motivated to change their lifestyle.
Doorstop Accommodation Scheme
This service is for prison leavers only who have a drug issue. The service aims to reduce the offending behaviour and to address the substance misuse. The scheme is for people over the age of 18 and is single person occupancy. Service users must be willing to address their offending behaviour, be in/willing to be in treatment, and be motivated to change their lifestyle.
