Our specially-commissioned Workforce Development Programme is designed for people who work in the substance misuse sector in Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Wrexham and Ynys Môn.
It is especially useful for workers who are indirectly involved with substance misuse issues — including teachers, police officers, housing workers and community support groups, plus many more. Each course includes participants from a variety of organisations.

The Workforce Development Programme aims to increase awareness of the fundamental principles associated with the recognition and management of drug and alcohol misuse.
By the end of the course, participants will have an increased awareness of:
The course accredited by Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales at OCN Level 1/2.
Participants will receive an information pack and workbook, and certificate of attendance for the course.
This course is provided free of charge, with the support of funding from the North Wales Area Planning Board for Substance Misuse.
Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided on each day.
