During their stay at Salus, rehab residents receive personalised support to help understand and respond to the issues they face while addressing the causes and consequences of addiction. Each resident is allocated their own care coordinator, who will encourage them to be actively involved in setting their own programme, and to take responsibility for their own recovery.
Our staged programme includes sessions dedicated to understanding addiction, supporting recovery, health and wellbeing, and trauma – with maximum flexibility according to need. Experienced and professional staff work with our residents to promote self-help, mutual support, health and wellbeing in a safe, enabling, and therapeutic environment. Our bespoke, person-centred approach also allows us to address other key issues – including common low-level mental health needs like anxiety and depression – in our care planning, drawing on additional specialist external support where necessary.
